Botanical Name:  Vetiveria zizanioides

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation from the chopped and dried roots.

Country of Origin:  Vietnam

Aroma:  Earthy, sweet, sharp, woody.

Some Traditional Uses:  Known as the "oil of tranquility" it is effective in relieving the symptoms of stress, depression, irritability and insomnia.  Popular in massage for promoting relaxation.

Skin: Especially good for treating acne and oily skin.  Strengthens mature skin.
