Botanical Name:  Aniba rosaeodora

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation of the wood.

Country of Origin:  Brazil

Aroma:  Sweet, woody, floral, earthy, rosey.

Some Traditional Uses:  It is a gentle stimulant making it a popular choice to treat depression and chronic fatigue.  Calming and stabilizing, it improves mental clarity and reduces stress.  Useful in boosting the immune system.

Skin: Exceptionally valuable for skin care it can be used on even the most sensitive skin.  It is a cellular regenerator, which makes it ideal for dry and aged skin, and is reputed to diminish wrinkles, scars and stretch marks.  Being antiseptic and bactericidal, it is a good choice to treat acne.
