Botanical Name:  Rosmarinus officinalis

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation of the flowering tops.

Country of Origin:  France

Aroma:  Herbal, woody, sharp, camphor-like.

Some Traditional Uses:  For centuries this has been used to treat a multitude of ailments.  It is valued highly as a brain stimulant, said to improve memory and mental focus.  In massage it can detoxify the liver and lymphatic system and relieve fluid retention.  Relieves symptoms of PMS.  It possesses pain killing properties, is a good choice to relieve headaches, muscle and joint pain.  Has powerful antiseptic properties, when used in a diffuser may help to prevent the spread of airborne viruses, cold and flu.  Has a general tonic effect, combating fatigue.

Skin: It is valuable for treating acne, dandruff, dermatitis and varicose veins.  It is reputed to stimulate hair growth.
