Botanical Name:  Pogostemon cablin

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation of the leaves.

Country of Origin:  Indonesia

Aroma:  Herbal, earthy, musky, pungent.

Some Traditional Uses:  Said to work as an aphrodisiac for those who appreciate its distinctive, pungent fragrance.  Valued highly in skin care, it is also an effective stimulant and tonic.  It is relaxing, soothing and uplifting, and reduces anxiety and stress.

Skin: It has cell regenerative properties and helps to heal dermatitits, sores and eczema.  Due to its fungicidal properties it relieves athlete's foot and fungal infections.  It is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.  A good choice for acne treatment.
