Botanical Name:  Jasminum officinale var. grandiflorum

Manufacturing Process:  Solvent extraction, critical CO² extraction or enfleurage from the flowers.

Country of Origin:  India

Aroma:  Warm, floral, sweet, rich.

Some Traditional Uses:  Most revered as a perfume, it has also been used for centuries to relieve menstrual pain and cramps and to facilitate the birthing process.  It is also a tonic for coughs and chest infections.  Valued as an effective antidepressant, it relieves stress and anxiety.

Skin: Especially efffective in treating dry, inflamed, sensitive, and mature skin.  Good for treating scarring and stretch marks.
