Botanical Name:  Zingiber officinale

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation of the root.

Country of Origin:  France

Aroma:  Warm, fresh, spicey, woody.

Some Traditional Uses:  Best known as a digestive aide, it helps to treat colic, cramps, diarrhea, nausea, flatulence and indigestion.  Used in compresses or massage it can ease the pain of rheumatism, arthritis and tense muscles.
