Botanical Name:  Salvia sclarea

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation of the flowers and flowering tips.

Country of Origin:  Bulgaria

Aroma:  Earthy, herbal, bitter-sweet, nutty.

Some Traditional Uses:  An uplifting oil that combats depression, stress, irritability, symptoms of PMS, and anxiety.  Used to promote relaxation.  Helps to ease muscle pain and tension, plus asthmatic and bronchial spasms.  Reduces excessive perspiration.

Skin: Helps in the treatment of oily skin, acne and dandruff.
