Botanical Name:  Matricaria recutita

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation of the flowers.

Country of Origin:  Nepal

Aroma:  Herbal, earthy, spicey.

Some Traditional Uses:  Especially popular for children's use as a calming oil that helps to reduce digestive upset and promote sleep.  It is a gentle anti-inflammatory for skin irritations.  Also effective in relieving muscular and joint pain caused by inflammation.

Skin: Treats and soothes dry and inflamed skin, dermatitis, eczema, rashes, insect bites, acne and burns.
