Botanical Name:  Cedrus atlantica

Manufacturing Process:  Steam distillation of the wood

Country of Origin:  United States

Aroma:  Woody, sharp, earthy.

Some Traditional Uses:  Used by ancient civilizations cosmetically and medicinally.  The wood from Atlas Cedarwood is famous for making storage chests safe from moths and other pests.  Known as a powerful antiseptic against urinary tract infections, and bronchial infections and inflammation.  It is a revitalizing oil with properties that reduce anxiety.

Skin: Effective astringent and antiseptic properties make it a good choice to treat oily skin, acne and dandruff.
